We Transform Lives

Our mission

Our mission is simple: Help young people grow into confident, committed, and community-minded leaders.

CORE Wrestling, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2012 by Stan Banks Jr.— Two-time NC State Champion, ACC Champion, and NCAA Division I All-American at UNC. These experiences provided an education, network, work ethic, resiliency, career, and invaluable life skills. Stan's passion is providing the same opportunities to our local youth.

With the support of a competent and committed board and generous donors, we develop young leaders and strengthen our community by investing in three core initiatives:

  1. Youth Student Development
  2. First Responder Support
  3. High School Student Development
